The Walk I Wasn’t Meant to Take

A little story about this night. 🤍

I wasn’t actually meant to walk. I was calling the show from backstage, in my runners because I needed to be everywhere at once — running around, keeping everyone on time and making sure the show was running smoothly. Run sheet in hand, phone timer ready, headphones on… very glamorous. 😂

Then suddenly, I got called in.

“I can’t walk, I don’t have heels!”

My heels were somewhere near my bag… and that was about as prepared as I was. 😂

Within minutes, the girls backstage had me out of my runners, into my heels, headphones off, phone gone and run sheet taken from me.

No time to think. Just adrenaline, trust and a little bit of “well… here we go!”

I walked out and enjoyed every second of it.

And honestly, that little unexpected moment reminded me of the power of sisterhood, women who don’t hesitate, who lift you up, push you forward and remind you that sometimes, all you need is a little army behind you. 🤍
